Manager, Client Services & Team Operations

Required Experience: 5+ years of direct experience
Background Preferences: Demonstrated success delivering excellent project management, coordination of portfolio/team/department operations and executive support. Agency experience working with multiple teams is strongly preferred. Nonprofit experience or social impact/cause partnership experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to excel in entrepreneurial collaborative environments utilizing a combination of independent and team-based resourcefulness is required.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related field or equivalent demonstrated experience

As a result of continuing growth and market success, For Momentum is looking for an experienced full time Manager to support client services, project and agency teams, and our agency operations. This new position will act as an agency-wide administrator and key operational partner to agency operations leadership as we scale our delivery and operating infrastructure for an expanding portfolio of cause partnership projects and teams. Our agency, a nationally recognized leader in social impact partnerships, helps numerous national nonprofits and companies cultivate partnerships and successful cause partnership programs. For Momentum is a virtual organization with a headquarters office in Atlanta, GA. While the ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, the company offers flexibility for individuals to independently operate from a home office.

Responsibilities include:

Project and Traffic Management
  • Builds and maintains a collaborative working calendar of projects, deliverables, priorities and assignments
  • Maintains the agency out of office schedule, identifies coverage needs and assists in planning and coordination
  • Serves as the traffic manager for contracted client activities and specialist resource assignments, such as design

Research, Materials and Information Management
  • Maintains a library of the agency’s best practices and priority products and project examples
  • Assists with presentations and case studies based on best practices and best-of-breed projects
  • Facilitates internal agency communications and information exchange across teams and functions
  • Establishes and maintains internal information management best practices and guidelines amongst and across Client Services and agency teams
  • Supports project teams with research, light editing and proofing of documents as assigned

Team and Project Operations
  • Organizes and facilitates the consistent and quality start and end of projects, coordinating multiple teams and systems; develops best practices and guidelines for the agency
  • Assists with planning and content development for team trainings and meetings
  • Works collaboratively to develop and implement ways to measure and evaluate project success

Executive Support
  • Assists the VP Client Services and VP Operations with team planning, meeting planning and scheduling and overall Client Services and agency operations
  • Maintains agency rosters and capacity reporting
  • Supports the agency’s ongoing recruitment efforts including scheduling, posting positions and project opportunities and screening resumes
  • Supports the distribution of monthly individual and team operations reports
  • Conducts research to inform enhancements to agency programs, tools and processes
  • Special projects as assigned

Required Skills and Characteristics
  • Intermediate to advanced project management skill set and demonstrated experience traffic managing deliverables across a multi-team portfolio of work requiring proactive timeline and resource management and coordination
  • Operations experience in an agency or agency-like service organization
  • Knowledge management and organizational skills to effectively administer and enhance agency information processes
  • Demonstrated maturity, discretion and excellent judgement
  • Ability to multi-task; proven ability to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent time management skills, a strong sense of urgency, and meticulous attention to detail
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work well independently and virtually
  • Strong research, writing, editing, proofreading and formatting skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across virtual teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses good listening skills and fosters a positive relationship with all stakeholders including team members, leadership, and external partners
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary and benefits: The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 and the starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. For Momentum is a woman-owned small business offering a flexible, team-based, virtual work environment supportive of team members’ work/life balance.
