The Foundation seeks a senior communications associate to join its Strategic Communications team to oversee the day-to-day operations of its websites and newsletters with a focus on content development and production. As a senior associate, you will:
  • play a key role in implementing the Foundation’s digital communications strategy;
  • develop a content strategy that engages, educates and influences Foundation audiences;
  • write and edit content that aligns with Casey’s style guidelines and editorial standards, as well as with consideration for search engine optimization;
  • publish website and newsletter content through content management systems;
  • coordinate content for digital campaigns for specific projects, including the Foundation’s KIDS COUNT Data Book; and
  • leverage analytics to strengthen content and improve user experiences online.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of full-time professional communications experience
  • Experience working for or on behalf of nonprofits or government agencies
  • Background in writing for and managing digital channels, including websites, newsletters and social media
  • Experience using content management systems and a familiarity with HTML
