We’re seeking a Senior Vice President, Digital Advertising to join our team. This individual will lead the strategy, development, and execution of digital advertising campaigns for a full slate of clients, including candidates, nonprofits, and other causes and will provide strategic leadership to our Digital Advertising Team. You’ll play an integral role in shaping and evolving our ads practice as we continue to scale, ensuring that we remain at the cutting-edge of the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the strategy and execution of large-scale, multi-channel digital advertising campaigns, including tracking progress toward goals, monitoring budgets, and adjusting plans based on results and key metrics.
  • Provide excellent client management via responsive, timely, and strategic counsel to a variety of diverse clients, including providing strategic guidance during rapid-response moments
  • Effectively communicate between clients and internal team members to relay information, keep projects flowing smoothly, and ensure that goals and objectives are consistently being met
  • Work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to grow DBT’s ads practice, including continuing to expand our work with electoral clients and ensuring we remain on the cutting edge of the field
  • Participate in business development processes such as pitching prospective clients and writing proposals; build media plans that outline platforms, targeting, creative, and estimates of results
  • Analyze results and harness data to make informed decisions and offer strategic recommendations; develop client-facing reporting that seamlessly translates numbers into meaningful and understandable stories
  • Manage DBT’s Digital Advertising Team to ensure the organization is staffed appropriately to efficiently and effectively service clients while providing junior members of the team with the support they need to grow in their careers
  • Elevate DBT with prospective clients and other key audiences by supporting marketing efforts such as drafting blog posts and case studies and participating in speaking engagements.
  • Keeps up to date on the latest with the industry at large, ensuring the practice evolves ahead of key competitors and threats

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 - 10 years in the digital advertising space, including previous experience with political and advocacy campaign management 
  • Well-versed in ad strategy and various paid digital advertising platforms, including Facebook/Instagram, Google Search, programmatic partners, YouTube, and more, with the ability to recommend the appropriate platforms and targeting in order to accomplish client goals
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value of digital advertising to clients and prospective clients and to make recommendations that align with their overall goals, objectives, and budget/time constraints
  • Stellar interpersonal communication skills, with a knack for relationship building and stakeholder management
  • A positive attitude and ability to creatively solve problems, with experience leading and motivating others 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to shift gears quickly, balance competing deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced agency atmosphere 
  • A strong understanding of advertising performance data and metrics to help inform strategy and insights

COMPENSATION + PERKS

Competitive compensation:  We offer a strong base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 plus incentive-based bonuses tied to business development as well as a full benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance and a 3% 401k employer contribution.
