Job Overview

Condé Nast is seeking a skilled Director of Account Strategy, for our US Commercial team, who will collaborate and partner with Sales, Research, Data, Planning and Marketing to effectively manage advertiser accounts at scale, focusing on driving revenue and product adoption. You, along with your team of Account Strategy Executives, will be responsible for activating, nurturing, and growing high-value advertisers for your assigned division. You will empower this team to test a variety of services, to understand the effectiveness in addressing advertiser needs and to identify what programs to scale to drive ROI for your division. 

Key Responsibilities:

Drive revenue for assigned division by supporting scalable sales and account management programs across a variety of high value clients and agencies

Inform strategies within the team related to product adoption, transaction models, performance marketing, and educating clients and agencies in a scalable fashion

Develop best practices to help division clients utilize Conde Nast’s full portfolio of capabilities and assets

Facilitate conversations around sensitive or priority client needs; work to quickly resolve and win

Provide proactive recommendations to help maximize sales opportunities 

Maintain deep foundational understanding of our ad products and capabilities (i.e. data, video, social, new products, etc) and ensure that same level of understanding is seen across your team

Understand workflow and tools required to perform role; able to train and provide guidance 

Partner with key internal stakeholders to shape product, process or people enhancements 

Own updates in division meetings, including presenting division- and company-wide performance analysis and recommendations

Participate in regular Conde Nast assigned division/category strategy planning

Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service experience

Manage, mentor and develop high performing teams and managers

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 10-15 years advertising sales and/or agency planning/strategy

• Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge a plus. 
• Strong analytical and creative skills. 
• High energy and teamwork mentality a must.
