The Senior Director of Ad Operations oversee post-sale execution of our advertiser-driven campaigns. They will lead cross-team collaboration and execution, evangelize process efficiency, automation, and identify emerging trends in the digital advertising landscape.
Directly manage the US digital Ad Operations team. Mentor, lead and grow a team of experienced managers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Guide workload balancing across the management team.
Work closely with the pre and post-sales support teams to ensure successful delivery of all campaigns. Clearly communicate advertising capabilities and needs with sales, business development, editorial, tech and product teams.
Identify, implement, and integrate systems into most optimal ad operation infrastructure to maintain and/or increase functionality, efficiency, and stability of ad delivery.
Oversee a team of specialists responsible for high impact and custom ad unit builds and deployment. Work with product and tech teams to enhance ad serving solutions, revenue products and QA/Troubleshooting methodology.
Manage relationships with outsourcing vendors to maximize resource allocation.
Stay on top of ad tech, media, and general technology trends; translate them into POVs, share with product and business teams, devise ways to assimilate trends internally.
7 -10 years of experience working in the digital media space, ideally with a scaled premium publisher or ad tech company.
Demonstrated experience managing and building teams of 10 or more.
Strong time management and organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfortable de-bugging and troubleshooting (Inspector, Charles, etc.)
High level of proficiency of media operation platforms (GAM, MOAT, AdBook, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs)
Strong understanding of Rich Media, VAST, VPAID
Energetic self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude
