Job Description
Commercial Training and Enablement Specialist 

Condé Nast is growing its digital advertising and operations rapidly. We see a big opportunity to invest in the skills and experience of our employees to accelerate our growth and increase satisfaction.

We are looking for a training and enablement specialist to develop and deliver training for Condé Nast’s advertising revenue teams. You will work closely with our sales, client services, marketing and operations teams, and play a key role in educating the revenue teams on mission-critical skills for their roles through onboarding and professional skills programming. You should enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills are crucial. You should be able to work autonomously but thrive on collaboration.

In addition, you will execute and measure effectiveness of talent programs; partner and collaborate with talent teams and business leaders to develop, communicate and implement programs and processes; and operate as the functional contact of talent management technology.


You will report to the executive director of training and enablement and partner with Condé Nast’s full commercial revenue leadership team, including the leaders of our sales, product, client services, advertising operations and marketing functions. You will also work closely with our human resources and communications teams to drive alignment across the company on this work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee onboarding programming for the commercial organization, including virtual sessions, e-learning updates, mentor and coach programs and communications

Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning

Ensure that organization-wide talent management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness

Manage all professional skills programming for the commercial organization

Work closely with training & enablement team to integrate high-priority systems and skills training initiatives into onboarding learning path

Deliver training, via in-classroom, web or video, e-learning, by exhibiting an engaging, high impact facilitation style and strategy. Programs to include but not limited to: onboarding, sales skills, professional development, product knowledge, systems and process training

Create training content based on audience needs, including presentations, quick reference guides, and on demand video modules.

Manage training logistics, including scheduling, communications, and run day-of support for live training sessions

Establish benchmarks and measurement strategies. Oversee the facilitation of surveys, testing, assessments, and certification programs. Assess results and make recommendations

Work with the team to anticipate needs, resources, timelines, and budget requirements; build and manage project plans accordingly

Partner with our learning & development teammates to ensure consistency and alignment across all learning and development functions

Essential Skills and Requirements

2-4 years in advertising, revenue training, sales, account management or learning & development servicing revenue teams

Superior verbal and written communication skills

High-energy, high-impact facilitation style. Ability to command a room regardless of content

Experience or enthusiasm around developing training, communication and/or development programs from scratch

Proficient in developing and delivering training in multiple modalities, including instructor-led training, both in-person and virtual

Track record of successfully collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product and/or operations teams

Track record of successfully collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product and/or Operations teams.

Has strong interpersonal skills; Enjoys working with others in a collaborative, social environment

Has credibility, stature, and personal presence

Possesses a sense of urgency and have a strong work ethic

Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Can project manage complex projects with multiple deliverables and tight timelines

Bring a sense of “fun” that inspires others and creates a healthy environment

Proficient in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel

Proficient in Google Suite
