Rabin Martin is in search of an energetic individual to join our team of smart, curious global health professionals.  We are looking for a Director to support a range of global health initiatives.  The ideal candidate is a supportive team leader, strong project manager and curious learner.  Candidates for this role must have excellent communication and project management skills and will have a minimum of eight years of full-time work experience.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to support a range of projects. In this role, the Director will:

  • Support and grow a small team of global health professionals
  • Provide day to day contact and support for clients
  • Define key audiences across global settings
  • Research and disseminate information, identify key themes.
  • Articulate ideas to clients and colleagues through oral presentations and written assignments
  • Lead collaboration and create clear action items as project manager.
  • Seek opportunities to be curious, learn from others and share knowledge across the team.

 

Main responsibilities/tasks

 

  • Experience managing and developing team members
  • Creative, organized, flexible; ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team setting to respond effectively to client needs
  • Exceptional writing and research skills, including ability to understand technical literature, interpret data and present information in a clear, compelling and easy-to-understand way
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team setting
  • Preferred experience working in a client services environment
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

 

Candidates should have the following qualities/skills

 

  • Minimum, Bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • International and/or US based experience.
  • Experience working in a client service environment.
  • Preferred experience in area of global health such as: vaccines research, public policy, communications, public-private partnerships, sustainability, health equity, health systems strengthening, advocacy, health financing, health economics etc.
