Position Summary 

The Front-End Web Developer & Graphic Designer will plan, design, and execute all website efforts and graphic design for Panorama. Areas of responsibility include developing concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations, gathering project requirements, website update requests, creating and designing web pages along with creating digital assets, coding, and implementing web designs and/or changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or any additional languages that are required. Maintaining and optimizing front-end website code and functions, updating website catalogs, troubleshooting website issues, providing insight on web best practices are all required. This position reports to the Senior Strategic Communications Manager.  

This position is available on a fully remote basis within the United States. 

 

Major Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Graphic Design(40%):  

  • Design and layout of a variety of print and digital communication and marketing pieces (e.g., logos, flyers, programs, brochures, postcards, webpages, social media)  

  • Create design concepts and mockups (e.g., color palettes, custom banners, icons, and other design elements)  

  • Take ownership and manage projects directly with clients from beginning to end, including initial briefs and print production/delivery. 

  •  Ensure consistent branding is being used online across departments & contributors 

 

Front-End Web Developer (60%): 

  • Collaborate with Manager to execute the digital and websites marketing plan for Panorama and Panorama-led programs 

  • Work with managers to design website experiences to drive brand and product awareness, capture leads, support our products, end-users, and support our trade users 

  • Use front-end web languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop approved designs and integrate them into Panorama websites 

  • Create digital assets and/or manipulate existing assets for use on Panorama websites 

  • Collaborate with relationship managers and other program leads to develop marketing tactics that are driven or promoted through the Panorama websites 

  • Identify & document website and webpages best practices 

  • Collaborate with IT& Operations team to connect frontend and backend for projects that require backend components 

  • When planning projects or assignments, create mockups for peer review and approvals 

  • In collaboration with the digital team, maintain the corporate brand standards for digital spaces 

  • Work with managers to launch and manage any new online tools, online centers, or online campaigns 

  • Be an expert and advanced user of existing online and web management platforms, content management, FTP management, illustration management, and prototyping tools 
     

Required Qualifications: 
 
Relevant experience must be in the visual communication of information (e.g., layout, design and navigation principles, information architecture, content strategy, and/or usability). Must also demonstrate knowledge (through coursework or experience) in using web-authoring software, graphic design software, and web programming languages. Project management experience is preferred. 

 

  • A minimum of 10 years work experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or front-end web development in an enterprise setting  

  • Must possess strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery skill  

  • Knowledge of proper version control and restoration techniques 

  • Must possess strong Artistic / Creativity / Web page UX / UI design skills 

  • Ability to effectively test and debug 

  • Strong familiarity with browser developer tools 

  • Strong inclination for building automation in web processing 

  • Displays responsive design thinking 

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign 

  • Experience using FTP tools, content management tools, and text editing tools 

  • Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies for maximum efficiency 

  • Experience working in self-directed, fast-paced environments with excellent time management and productivity output 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance accuracy, follow-through, and efficiency 

  • Fluency in written and spoken English  

  • Willingness to travel if needed 

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience with Webflow and headless content management systems 

  • Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as AngularJS and Bootstrap 

  • Industry trend-awareness 

  • SEO & Analytical skills 

  • Passion about company's business and products 

  • Advanced computer skills with Excel, Note++, and Visual Studio Code are preferred 

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or similar/ related field is preferred. 

  • Completed coursework includes web development, programming, web design, database management, networking, and mathematics or a related field, OR 

  • An equivalent combination of training and proven experience in front-end web development. 

  • Additional language proficiencies welcomed

The starting salary for this position is $105,000.00 alongside a comprehensive benefits package including:
