UM is looking for a dynamic, fun, strategic thinker who is looking to advance their media planning career! We are looking for a Partner, Portfolio Management who will be responsible for cultivating a deep relationship with multiple internal and external constituents while developing, executing, and monitoring all media planning and account process across a single Global client.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead a data-led, audience-first integrated media planning, across offline and online media (Cross-platform Video including TV, Display/Programmatic, Search, Social) 
  • Manage a team of 3-4 on day-to-day responsibilities including billing, media plan updates as well as training and development 
  • Steward multi-disciplinary, audience-based US planning process, balancing varied strategic priorities and client business needs 
  • Lead the coordination of client approach and processes across Global Regional Hubs 
  • Prioritize work flow for the agency team and act as connection point for multiple initiatives across various client teams. 
  • Inform budgetary discussions and incremental funding requests 
  • Communicate expertly on marketplace trends and developments including providing client specific context and impacts 
  • Simplify complex and detailed data-led strategies and approaches for generalist marketing client team 
  • Maintain relationships with all levels of client contact 
  • Prepare and make presentations to clients regarding media recommendations, ensuring buy-in 
  • Manage client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information


Desired Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience 
  • Seven to nine years’ experience in media planning including three to five years management experience required 
  • B2B experience is a plus. Working on a global account a plus too. 
  • Experience across traditional and digital channels 
  • Experience with multiple business categories 
  • Strong managerial skills and quantitative skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Collaborative mindset 
  • Thrives in fast paced environment 
  • High level of comfort presenting to clients and internal team members 
  • Proven track record with client relations and growing existing business 
  • Solid awareness of industry trends and planning/measurement models 
  • Primarily digital: heavy online display/programmatic, social, search, events 
  • Understanding of marketing and communications process; Planning, buying, managing and optimizing across all channels (directly and/or consulting) 
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to inform go-to-market strategies
