Overview

About the position

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company and to acknowledge the need to create more equitable opportunities for professionals of diverse backgrounds and experiences, Porter Novelli created the Erica Smith Future Leaders Fellowship in honor of Erica Smith – a late Porter Novelli colleague and LAGRANT Foundation Scholar alumnae. This program is meant to inspire, prepare and create memorable, career-defining experiences for the next generation of change makers and storytellers in communications – which was what Erica strived to do every day.

We are looking for 2022 graduates with an undergraduate, graduate, or associate degree and early-career professionals who want to pursue a career in the justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) field. This three-month immersive program will be focused on supporting JEDI initiatives for the company and for clients. The selected fellow will receive coaching and mentorship from Suzy An, Porter Novelli’s JEDI Leader, as well as direct engagement with several other senior leaders based on the fellow’s interests.

The program will be hybrid with the expectation of going into the office 1-2 times a week. Furthermore, the fellow should have the ability to travel to various Porter Novelli offices to experience and engage with JEDI work across the U.S. Following the fellowship, there may be an opportunity to be hired for a full-time role.
