The team of people who make up SC are smart, strategic, and creative, and we’re looking for Bay Area-based talent to join our team. Segal Communications operates on a hybrid work model and candidates for this role must be able to
work from our San Francisco office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop social media calendars for both clients and the company
  • Create and edit content for clients
  • Build an archive of evergreen content 
  • Monitor hot conversations in client-related verticals
  • Draft client reports and contribute to the ongoing development of reporting protocols
  • Community management – respond to comments and DMs, engage with followers and relevant accounts on behalf of clients
  • Source key influencers and foster ongoing relationships
  • Draft meeting agendas & recaps
  • Attend staff and client meetings, taking notes as needed
  • Participate in company retreats and team-building activities
  • Contribute to the agency’s growth through efforts such as writing blog posts for the company website

REQUIREMENTS

  • Social media internship experience
  • Experience posting content on social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram,  Tiktok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. 
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and social media management tools
  • Experience shooting video content, using video editing software and creating short-form videos preferred
  • Great eye for content, color, and consistency
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills; a strong ear for voice and tone
  • Savvy about social media trends, memes, and the current news media landscape
  • Clever, witty, and confident - can give Wendy’s Twitter feed a run for its money
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Organized, strong attention to detail
  • A go-getter who takes initiative and proactively anticipates client needs
