Salesforce is hiring a corporate communications specialist to join our Global Communications team. This candidate will support the external communications strategies for the Employee Success portfolio, which includes hiring, benefits, DEI, real estate, and workplace services. The successful candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, writing skills, time management, executive presence, and the ability to form relationships at every level of the organization. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and tackling new challenges.
Responsibilities (what you’ll be doing):
- Provide support for exec comms programs - including social media, speaking and awards
- Research, develop and edit content, including messaging, briefing docs, blog posts and more
- Lead coverage reporting, measurement and analytics to showcase team results for key partners
- Drive proactive storytelling and media relations that highlights Salesforce’s outstanding culture
- Prioritize the team on project timelines and ensure all team members are advised of progress and deadlines
- Create and implement internal team procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Maintain centralized repositories for team communication materials, playbooks and templates
- Consult and build relationships with all levels of key stakeholders and global comms team members
Required skills/experience (what you've accomplished):
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate communications setting (PR agency experience is a plus)
- Excellent writing and critical thinking skills
- Strong research, communication, organizational and project management skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is able to multi-task, re-prioritize projects and communicate priorities to business partners
- Self-starter who is comfortable managing their work autonomously
- Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to take risks
