MSL is currently seeking an Account Supervisor for our P&G business in our New York office. As an integral member of the team, this Account Supervisor will be responsible for the development and execution of PR plans and leading day-to-day account activities for iconic P&G brands we bet you have at home.

Details are important, and you should be able to develop and oversee budgets and have on point project management skills. You will be comfortable leading projects, delegating work and direction to junior team members, and be a day-to-day client lead.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy and lead execution of influence-driven PR plans and management of day-to-day client activities for iconic CPG brands
- Write creative, insight-driven programs that deliver on the PR / influencer strategy; fluent in social strategy and social platform execution
- Lead the team in executing PR plans and day-to-day client activities including leading client calls, developing call reports, and project timelines
- Execute influence programs including influencer identification, brief development, social captions, visual direction, and content review
- Support negotiations and contracts for influencers; manage talent agency
- Write and/or oversee strong media and consumer facing materials including persuasive pitch letters, press releases, fact sheets, spokesperson bios, web copy, etc.
- Build relationships with editors and producers covering consumer product goods to pitch stories and secure placements
- Manage event execution logistics including vendor coordination, run of show document creation, real-time results management, and budget management
- Provide support to the overall financial and administrative management of the team including managing the monthly client billing, maintaining account trackers, invoicing and budget trackers
- Nimbly conduct research for plan creation, including independent desktop research as well as collaboration with in-house research/culture team on larger research initiatives
- Support Vice President on day-to-day client and program management, including leading client meetings and calls, internal team management and promotion of best-in-class work
- Manage and mentor team and direct reports, supporting their skill and career growth
Requirements/Skills:
- BA/BS Degree in a related field
- 5+ years' experience in Public Relations in the consumer practice of an agency, experience in CPG products, consumer health, personal care, and sustainability a plus
- Creative thinker with a pulse on what is happening in culture; shares a passion for bringing forward-looking ideas to the team and client
- Flexibility/versatility to tackle different tasks throughout the day and pivot with little or no warning based on client needs
- Excellent writing skills are essential to this position, as well as great attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and proactivity
- Strong verbal communication skills, poise, and professionalism
- Knowledge of social media tools such as Netbase, Brandwatch, Cision, Sprinkles
Compensation Range: $70,000-$117,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
